A typical day @ camp in Tanzania:

Camps begin Monday night with a sermon and important announcements. The local village is always invited to take part in our evening services which are much more evangelistic. Tues through Fri are our real days of camp.

Here is a typical day's schedule at camp. Where you see activities is where the individual groups do workshops, games or practical life skills.

9:45 Regroup

10:00 Activity 1

11:00 Regroup

11:15 Chai

11:45 Assembly - Chapel

1:00 Skit Time

1:45 Regroup

2:00 Eat Lunch

2:30 Free time

3:00 Regroup

3:15 Activity 2

4:15 Regroup

4:30 Small Group Devotions

5:45 Regroup

6:00 Games

7:00 Dinner

8:00 Evening Service

As you can see a day at camp in Tanzania is nothing like summer camp here in the states, often days will last 13-14 hrs. Please continue to pray for strength and stamina and that the counselors will get the rest they need at night to stay healthy and strong for all that God has planned for them.
